The Fulbright-Fogarty Fellowship in Public Health
The Fulbright-Fogarty Fellowships have been established to promote the expansion of research in public health and clinical research in resource limited settings. Initially awards will be available to four NIH-approved sites in Sub-Saharan Africa, as described below. All Fellows will participate in a 2 week orientation in Washington DC conducted by NIH, followed by a pre-departure orientation conducted by the Department of State (orientation dates will be announced in 2010). In addition to the orientation periods, this program will carry the benefits of Fulbright Full Grants to the country of award. This program is open to US citizens only.
